1st Night Photos: Clarke Plays Churchill at Trafalgar

Date: 3 November 2011

Dalziel and Pascoe star Warren Clarke has returned to the stage for the first time in over a decade to play Churchill in Ben Brown’s wartime thriller Three Days in May, which arrived at Trafalgar Studios 1 last night (2 November 2011, previews from 31 October) as part of a national tour.

The play ventures behind the doors of Number Ten during three of the most pivotal days in the war, when giving in to Hitler was considered by some to be a ‘viable option’.

Directed by Alan Strachan, Three Days in May also features Jeremy Clyde as Lord Halifax and Robert Demeger as Neville Chamberlain, and continues until 3 March 2012.
