1st Night Photos: Football is Fit & Proper at Soho

Date: 14 October 2011

Steve Marmion's RSC co-production, Fit and Proper People opened at the Soho Theatre this week 12 October (previews from 7 October) where it runs until 5 November 2011.

A new play by Georgia Fitch, the play is set in the world of Championship football and will see the Soho transformed into a football stadium complete with real turf, floodlights and the buzz of constant media coverage.

The production has a cast which includes Zahra Ahmadi, Mark Anthony Brighton, Kerron Darby, Russell Floyd, Steven Hartley, Katy Stephens and David Yip. It is design by Tom Piper with lighting design by Ben Ormerod, sound design by Gregory Clarke, video design by Douglas O'Connell and choreography by Spencer Soloman.

The cast and crew were joined to celebrate their opening night by guests including Ian Wright, Max Roberts, Patrick Robinson, Blake Harrison, gay and gay-friendly football club Phoenix FC, Amy Booth-Steel, Gabriel Vick, Roy Williams, Abby Francis, Simon Kunz, Simon Stokes, Annie Rowe,
