1st Night Photos: Wax & Owen Lose It at Duchess

Date: 2 September 2011

After two sell-out runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory in February and June and a successful stint at this year's Edinburgh Fringe, Ruby Wax and singer songwriter Judith Owen transferred Ruby Wax - Losing It! to the West End's Duchess Theatre last night (September 1 2011, preview show on 31 August) where it runs until 1 October 2011.

The show tackles Wax's own battle with depression, discussing the "toxins of our time" - envy, fame, television, the insatiable drive to win, getting rich, getting the perfect body, marriage, kids, career and, above all, staying busy while looking like you're having a nice day.

Wax and Owen were joined to celebrate their opening night by guests including Joanna Lumley, Frances Barber, Jennifer Saunders, Mike McShane, Gwyneth Strong, Suzanne Bertish, Scott Bakula, Harry Shearer, Jennifer Coolidge and Terry Gilliam.
