1st Night Photos: Open Air Goes Crazy in the Rain

Date: 9 August 2011

Amid riots and rainstorms, the Open Air Theatre, Regent’s Park presented its final production of the season last night (9 August 2011, previews from 28 July), a revival of George and Ira Gershwin’s hit musical comedy Crazy for You.

The musical, which centres on tap-dancing banking heir Bobby Child, runs until 10 September 2011 and stars Kim Medcalf, David Burt, Sean Palmer, Clare Foster, Harriet Thorpe and Michael McKell. The creative team behind the Open Air's award-winning production of Hello, Dolly! reunite for the show, with Timothy Sheader directing, Stephen Mear choreographing and design by Peter McKintosh.
