1st Night Photos: New Les Mis Cast, Boe & LucasDate: 24 June 2011 West End long-runner Les Miserables welcomed its new cast last night (23 June 2011) with Alfie Boe and Matt Lucas reprising their performances as Jean Valjean and Thenardier from the show's 25th anniversary concert performance at The O2. The pair are joined in the cast by Caroline Sheen, Alexia Khadime, Hadley Fraser, Craig Mather, Katy Secombe, Liam Tamne and Lisa-Anne Wood at the Queen’s Theatre, which has also been refitted with an all-new sound system and a larger orchestra pit. The Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schonberg and Herbert Kretzmer musical now features a slightly larger band playing orchestrations which were heard during the show's 25th anniversary tour.
