1st Night Photos: Mogadishu Bows at LyricDate: 8 March 2011 Vivienne Franzmann’s debut play Mogadishu, about a secondary school teacher who is falsely accused of racism by a pupil, transferred from the Manchester Royal Exchange to the Lyric Hammersmith last night (7 March 2011, previews from 3 March).
The play, which has won the Bruntwood Playwriting Competition and The George Devine Award, features: Hammed Animashaun, Ian Bartholomew, Christian Dixon, Julia Ford, Savannah Gordon-Liburd, Tara Hodge, Fraser James, Tendayi Jembere, Michael Karim, Malachi Kirby, Farshid Rokey and Shannon Tarbet.
