1st Night Photos: Wax Loses It for Comic Relief
Date: 25 February 2011

Comedienne and television personality Ruby Wax’s new stage show, Losing It opened last night (24 February, previews from 15 February) at the Menier Chocolate Factory where it will play a five-week run.

Helmed by Blithe Spirit and Cause Celebre director Thea Sharrock, and with music supplied by Welsh singer-songwriter Judith Owen, Wax seeks tackle the "big stigma" around mental illness - which affects one in four of the population at some time in their lives.

A contribution from every ticket sold will be donated to Comic Relief to contribute to their work with members of the community affected by mental health issues. Losing It held a Gala night for the charity on 23 February 2011 which was attended by Sally Phillips, Judy Pascoe, Robert Llewellyn, Kathy Lette, Pamela Stephenson, Helena Kennedy, Olivia Williams, Harry Shearer, Ed Bye, Ash Atalla, Claire Sweeney, Harry Enfield, Jo Brand, Helena Kennedy, Kathy Lette, Pamela Stephenson, Nick Mason, Nettie Mason, Zoe Wanamaker, Gawn Grainger, Rosie Boycott and Ronnie Wood,
