Photos: Cumberbatch & Miller in Frankenstein

Date: 24 February 2011

In conjunction with last night's opening of Frankenstein at the NT Olivier (press nights 22 & 23 February 2011, previews from 5 February), we've put together a gallery of production shots featuring stars Johnny Lee Miller and Benedict Cumberbatch, who alternate in the roles of Victor Frankenstein and the Creature he creates.

Theatregoers can check the casting configuration they'll get when they attend on the NT website. And if they want to see the other version, but can't get back to the South Bank, they can tune into the NT Live airing of the production, which for the first time, will broadcast two performances of a production: with Cumberbatch as the Creature on 17 March, and Miller as the Creature on 24 March.

Directed by Oscar winner Danny Boyle, written by Nick Dear and designed by Mark Tildesley, Frankenstein continues in rep until 2 May 2011.
