1st Night Photos: Santa! Pays Visit to CourtDate: 13 December 2010The Royal Court is staging its first-ever family Christmas show this year, Get Santa!, which opened in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs last night (14 December 2010, previews from 1 December). Running until 15 January and suitable for ages seven and above, Get Santa! is written and directed by Anthony Neilson, the Scottish theatre-maker best known for much more adult, “in yer face” pieces – many of which premiered at the Court. Neilson was accompanied last night by his partner, fellow playwright Lucy Prebble, who is rumoured to have been commissioned by George Clooney to write a big screen adaptation of her multi-award winning play Enron.
