The play is set in New Orleans' Lower Ninth district, where two African Americans, Malcolm (Ray Fearon) and EZee (Anthony Welsh, find themselves stranded on a rooftop waiting for rescue. Their city has been devastated, their worldly possessions swept away and the body of their young friend lies before them. It continues until 23 October.

Elsewhere in theatreland, last night also saw the opening of Celebrity Autobiography at the Leicester Square Theatre.

The show, which has enjoyed acclaimed runs in New York and at this year's Edinburgh Fringe, features a rolling cast of comedy performers - including James Lance, Sally Phillips, Doon Mackichan and Ugly Betty's Michael Urie - who act out the memoirs of a wide range of 'celebrities'.
