1st Night Photos: Dorothys Support Steph at Joe's

Over the Rainbow's Steph Fearon was supported by a bevy of her fellow contestants - including winner Danielle Hope - at the gala night of Smokey Joe's Cafe at the Landor Theatre on Friday (16 July 2010, previews from 13 July).

The revue show features 39 pop standards written by songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, including “On Broadway”, “Jailhouse Rock”, “Stand By Me” and “I’m a Woman”. It premiered on Broadway in 1995, transferring to the West End's Prince of Wales theatre the following year (this is its first major revival since).

Mykal Rand directs a cast that also includes Marc Akinfolarin, Miguel Angel, Edward Baruwa, Simon Hardwick, Ngo Ngofa, Philippa Stefani and disco diva Kym Mazelle. Smokey Joe's Cafe continues until 15 August.
