Also opening last night was the West End transfer of Dream of the Dog, which opened at Trafalgar Studios 2 following its critically-acclaimed run at the Finborough Theatre.
The play, by South African Craig Higginson, is set in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, shortly after the millennium, where elderly white couple Patricia and Richard Wiley are packing up to leave the farm they’ve sold to developers. But their preparations are interrupted by the arrival of a young man – ‘Look Smart’ – who used to be one of the black workers on their estate until he disappeared fifteen years ago.
