Photos: Celebs Warm Avenue's Wyndham's House
Date: 25 March 2010

Avenue Q last night (24 March 2010) celebrated its move into Wyndham’s Theatre, its third West End home, with a post-show housewarming party, where celebrities including Chris Evans, Jenni Falconer, Dawn Porter, Chris O'Dowd, Kirsten O'Brien and Alexis Gerrerd shared drinks with avenue puppet residents like Lucy the Slut, Trekkie Monster and Rod.

The puppet musical, billed as an adult version of Sesame Street, had its West End premiere in June 2006 at the Noel Coward theatre (which is back-door neighbour to Wyndham’s) and moved in June 2009 to the Gielgud where it finished on 13 March 2010, to make way for Broadway import Hair, before resuming performances on 19 March. It’s currently booking until the end of September.
