1st Night Photos: Hynes & Co Check in to Priory
Date: 27 November 2009

Michael Wynne's new comedy The Priory opened at the Royal Court Theatre Downstairs last night (26 November 2009, previews from 19 November), with a host of Royal Court alumni including April de Angelis, Frances Barber and Lindsay Duncan joining the party.

Focussing on a group of 30-somethings who gather to see in the new year, the play “takes a microscope to modern dilemmas about life, love and retro board games”. The cast includes Jessica Hynes, Nick Blood, Alastair Mackenzie, Joseph Millson, Rupert Penry-Jones, Charlotte Riley and Rachael Stirling.

Director Jeremy Herrin's recent work includes Tusk Tusk, The Vertical Hour and That Face, all at the Royal Court.
