1st Night Photos: Stars Link up for Almeida's Chain
Date: 27 March 2007

A chain play created by six top playwrights was performed at the Almeida Theatre on Friday (23 March 2007) to raise funds for the Islington venue (See News, 2 Mar 2007).

Samuel Adamson, Moira Buffini, David Hare, Charlotte Jones, Frank McGuinness and Roy Williams all contributed to the piece, which was directed by Tom Cairns. Each writer was given two weeks to write a 10 to 15 minute scene before handing over to the next writer in the chain.
