WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Benji once read somewhere that life's not about hiding from a storm; it's about learning to dance in the rain. When it comes to being HIV-positive, epic phrases like that are easier said than done. But with his love life, social life and family life battered by fears of judgement and rejection, he's finally starting to realise that it's time to grab his anxiety by the balls and learn to get on with it.
Inspired by true stories, Positive is a warm-hearted comedy about an ordinary guy living with one of Britain's most misunderstood diseases - in London for one night only (World AIDS Day) after a critically-acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe, with all profits being donated to HIV charity Positively UK. Running time: 110 mins with an interval.
