WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
London Premiere. Show of Hands is a new solo choreographed and performed by Freddie Opoku-Addaie, directed and scored by Graeme Miller, and overlooked by a mass of wooden carved hands. Dodging obstacles and provocations, ducking and diving, dancing on shadows, rising to an unknown task and driven to the final whistle, Opoku-Addaie enacts this witty and personal work. With an inquisitive team of collaborators, Opoku-Addaie addresses preconceptions and challenges what it means to be part of a contemporary urban generation.
