WIN Die, Mommie, Die tickets, programme and glass of champagne

Date: 8 July 2011

ABOUT THIS OFFER:
WIN one of two pairs of tickets to see the return of the hit comedy Die, Mommie, Die! at Sashas Hotel Ballroom in August.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

Die, Mommie, Die!

After the huge success of their UK Premiere Production earlier this year, Vertigo Theatre Productions are bringing Die, Mommie, Die! (the Off Broadway smash) by Charles Busch back to Manchester, this time at Sachas Hotel Ballroom as part of Manchester Pride 2011.

It's the 1960s and Angela Arden, a fallen pop diva is trapped in a hateful marriage to film producer Sol Sussman.  Desperate to find happiness with her younger lover, an out-of-work TV actor named Tony Parker, Angela gruesomely murders her husband with the aid of a poisoned suppository. Angela’s manipulative daughter, Edith, convinces her 'emotionally disturbed' brother, Lance, that together they must avenge their father’s death... by killing their mother! A brilliant campy melodrama that pays homage/parodies those wonderful melodramas such as Dead Ringer, Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane.
