WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

In this intense, monarchical drama, set in Norway's darkest hour, Lady Inger becomes Ibsen's most complex female protagonist, with the whole of Norway balancing capriciously on her shoulders. Set in Trondheim's Ostrat Manor, Lady Inger, her brethrenand emissaries, set out on a complex thriller, woven with deception, courageousness and devastation.

This is a rare opportunity to see Ibsen's most tragic work, last seen in the United Kingdom in 1947.
