Another Interactive Show from FoolishPeople at Smithfield’s Old Abattoir

FoolishPeople, the company behind last year’s sell-out interactive promenade show, The Abattoir Pages, is presenting their new work, A Red Threatening Sky, from 11 to 20 February at The Old Abattoir in Smithfield.

The setting of The Abattoir Pages was a Halloween party where audience members – there as ‘guests’ – were invited to explore the mysterious and macabre story behind a fictional horror author’s greatest work.

A Red Threatening Sky follows in the same mould as last year’s show, combining performance, art installation and investigative interaction to tell the story of a seedy Valentine’s Day disappearance in the strange and surreal world of nightspot, Club Aethereus.

FoolishPeople are collaborating for the first time with production company Space Engineering. The show will feature the choreography of Johan Stjernholm and is written and directed by John Harrigan.
