Full casting announced for The Revenger's Tragedy

”Titanic” actor Paul Brightwell will play The Duke in Thomas Middleton’s play

Full casting for the new production of The Revenger's Tragedy at Nottingham Playhouse has been announced.

Alexander Campbell (The Three Musketeers) will play Vindice who is out for revenge after the murder of his sweetheart in Thomas Middleton's 1607 play.

Paul Brightwell, who will play The Duke, is best known for appearing in 1997 film Titanic as Quartermaster Hichens – the crew member at the ship's wheel at the time of impact with the iceberg.

Fiona Buffini will also direct Tabitha Wady, Mary Jo Randle, Michael Keane, Declan Perring, Martin Miller, John Askew, Bethan Mary-James, Isabel Adams, Navinder Bhatti, and Nathan Clarke when the play opens on 1 November.

The production will be designed by Neil Murray with music composed and sound designed by Jon Nicolls.

The Revenger's Tragedy will run at Nottingham Playhouse from 1 to 12 November, with previews from 28 October.
