Free Tickets for Gold LampsDate: 9 November 2010 Everyone likes a bargain, as the story of Aladdin – the runaway favourite pantomime title in the region this year – demonstrates. Watford’s Palace Theatre have gone one better than either Widow Twankey or Abanazer with a very special treasure hunt. Who thought that these only happen at Easter?
Hidden in a variety of locations in Watford, Hemel Hempstead, St. Albans and Harrow are little golden lamps. The finders of each can claim two free tickets to Aladdin on the official opening night, Tuesday 30 November at 7pm. The panto run is until New Year’s Day; it is a traditional family show with the clever twists to the story which theatregoers have come to expect at the Palace. The cast includes Craig Fletcher as Aladdin, Frances McNamee as Princess Jasmine, Alexander Delamere as Widow Twankey, Daniel Curtis as Wishy Washy and Peter Holdaway as Abanazer. The script is by Joanna Read and Stuart Thomas with direction by Kate Saxon and designs by Cleo Pettit. - by Anne Morley-Priestman Related ContentBack to Southeast Homepage
