Autumn Line-up at Millennium Centre's Studio

Two political dramas and two plays for children - one based on a novel by War Horse writer, Michael Morpurgo, the other a Christmas show by Sherman Cymru and Theatr Iolo - are among the offerings at Wales Millennium Centre's Weston Studio this autumn.

As We Forgive Them by Ensemble 52, is set in November 2008 as the US elections herald a new era of change and optimism. For newly elected senator, Democrat John Daniels, this should be the happiest of times but the murder of his only daughter makes him question his own beliefs. The play deals with life and death, truth and justice and the unique relationship between a father and his daughter's killer. 7 November 2010

The UN sanctions in Iraq and their impact on its people form the basis of Don't Shoot The Clowns by The Future Is Unwritten a Fuel. It is written by Jo Wilding, who wrote a blog and a book about the atrocities she witnessed first hand in Iraq during the war andits aftermath. 'Don't Shoot the Clowns' is based on her story and how she took a hastily assembled circus troupe around squatter camps, schools and orphanages in war-torn Iraq. 16 November 2010

Farm Boy is the compelling sequel to Michael Morpurgo's novel War Horse, and the award- winning play that continues to entertain audiences in the West End. This show tells the story of a young boy who goes to stay with his Grandpa on his farm. Suddenly, the farm which has been dormant for so long, comes to life. Farm Boy by New Perspectives and Scamp Theatre, combines drama, storytelling and original music and is aimed at children aged seven and upwards. 28 November 2010

Sherman Cymru joins forces with children's theatre company Theatr Iolo to present a new play Snow Child. It is created by Dafydd James, award-winning author of Llwyth; Sarah Argent, who specialises in theatre for babies and Kevin Lewis, Theatr Iolo's Artistic Director. This production which also has Welsh-language performances, Plentyn yr Eira, is a mix of puppetry and live music. Suitable for children as young as three years old, the play invites you to step into an imaginary world where the mischievous Snow Child comes to life. 14 December 2010 - 1 January 2011

Wales Millennium Centre Resident Company Hijinx Theatre will perform Ill Met by Moonlight, where a descendent of Puck creates mayhem and madness. 10-11 December 2010Silent Night, where a village turns disaster into triumph as they prepare to perform the Nativity - but with no music for their carols. 2-4 December 2010

Firm favourite Martyn Geraint returns to the Centre for the fourth time with his annual Welsh-language pantomime. Martyn Geraint a'r lamp hudol is based on the story of Aladdin with many twists and turns on the way. 5-7 December 2010.
