Lord of the Dance Set for Manchester, Jan

Lord of the Dance, the international dance phenomenon created by Michael Flatley, which started captivating audiences around the world since 1996 and is returning to the Opera House, Manchester in January 2012.

The show has now been seen by 60 million people across the globe, and it has shattered box office records worldwide.

The current tour features a spectacular multi-media set design incorporating video screens, elevated platform effects and striking new costumes. The story unfolds of the Little Spirit, travelling through time to help the Lord of the Dance protect his people from the challenge of Don Dorcha, the Dark Lord. As this evil dark force challenges the hero, an incredible adventure ensues, drawing audiences into a universe full of love, danger, desire, and ultimate triumph.

Lord of the Dance - the brand new production arrives at the Opera House, Manchester from 2 to 8 January, 2012.
