Alfie Boe to Headline Lytham Proms, 4 August

Superstar Opera singer and the nation’s favourite tenor, Alfie Boe, will headline a “Last Night of The Proms” concert on Saturday 4th August 2012. With his “Bring Him Home” Top 10 Gold album and the sell-out “Bring Him Home Tour”, as well as his record breaking performance as Jean Valjean in the 25th Anniversary production of Les Miserables at The 02 Arena, followed by the sold-out run of shows at The Queens Theatre in 2011, Boe from Fleetwood, Lancashire is sure to be as massive a hit with locals, as he is with audiences across The UK.

Following the success of his appearance in Les Miserable 25th Anniversary concert, Boe continues to play the lead role of Jean Valjean at the Queens Theatre, in the West End, London. The encore from the show, “Bring Him Home”, has become Alfie’s signature piece and title of his last top 10 studio album. The follow-up album “Alfie”, is released later this month.

Fans are invited to enjoy the evening in the usual ‘Last Night of The Proms’ style.

Tickets go on sale at 09:00 on Friday 14th October 2011. Further artists will be announced soon.
