Annie heads back to Manchester and Blackpool

Date: 1 September 2011

The musical Annie makes two more visits to the North West in November, following its recent success at the Liverpool Empire theatre. Starring Su Pollard and David McAllister, the production has also made regular visits to the region at the Lowry.

It appears for one-week only at both Manchester and Blackpool venues and features the well-known score including "It’s a Hard Knock Life", "Easy Street" and of course the legendary "Tomorrow", along with new choreography and script.

Pollard, star of classic TV shows Hi-De-Hi, You Rang M’Lord?, and stage musicals such as Shout! reprises her role as the dastardly Miss Hannigan. David McAlister, (Hollyoaks, Eastenders) also makes a welcome return as billionaire businessman Oliver Warbucks.

Annie appears at the Palace Theatre from 8 - 12 November and the Blackpool Grand from 22- 26 November.
