Palace Hold Guys and Dolls Auditions Date: 18 March 2010
Following a year's break in 2009, the Palace Theatre Manchester has announced that it will once again open its doors to the city’s young performers with another exciting Stage Experience. They need young people to attend the first of our two open audition dates.
The Stage Experience is an intense, fun and challenging two week summer project which gives budding actors, singers and dancers (and those that just want to work behind the scenes) aged between 10 – 21, the chance to experience what it is like to rehearse an amateur production with our professional production team, from scratch to performing the whole show for 4 performances on the Palace Theatre stage infront of a theatre audience.
The Stage Experience welcomes young people, that have an interest in theatre, performing, previous experience or new comer and this year the production will be the classic musical Guys and Dolls.
Guys and Dolls includes such classic musical numbers as Luck Be A Lady, Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat, Follow The Fold and If I Were a Bell.

Audition Information Palace Theatre Stage Experience – Guys and Dolls Open Auditions Audition dates Saturday 10th April 1.00pm – 5.00pm (Ages 10-14) and Sunday 11th April 10.00am- 2.00pm (Ages 15-21) Call backs will be held on 6th June 2010 Age: you must be aged 10 to 21 years of age on 02/08/10 to be eligible. • Please arrive at the main foyer entrance, wearing comfortable clothes, a smile and be prepared to sing and dance. • Refreshments will not be provided. • You do not need to prepare anything before the audition, but may be required to stay all day. Parental supervision is not required – please bring a mobile phone (which must be silenced during the auditions) with you so you are able to contact someone to collect you after your audition has finished. Please note that only those people who are auditioning are allowed inside the auditorium.
