Panto star Adams in surprise appearance

While visiting Birmingham Hippodrome to see Cinderella, starring Brian Conely as familiar face appeared, recognisable to all Theatre Royal panto fans.

While Conely as Buttons has to audition for Birminghams Got Talent (don't ask it's in the story) we see him on a large screen at the auditions with someone behind juggling clubs. That person is none other than our own panto star Danny Adams! My eldest spotted him first and sure enough each time we saw Buttons talking to camera, as they do on the TV version, there he is. Until finally he drops the clubs and hits Buttons!

Afterwards we were backstage with the shows Cinderella (Kathryn Rooney) who confirmed it was Danny. Kathryn appeared with Danny in several of the Theatre Royal pantos, but has been in the Birmingham productions for the last two years. This year's show in Birmingham ends this coming Sunday.
