RNT Displays Shortlisted Stage Designs Date: 23 September 1997
The four winners of the biennial Linbury Prize for Stage Design will be announced at the National Theatre on 6 November 1997. An exhibition of designs by shortlisted prize contenders can be seen in the Lyttelton Exhibition Foyer from 7-29 November (admission free). The Linbury Prize offers the UK's most promising stage design graduates an opportunity to work with leading professional companies. This years' twelve graduates were chosen from over 100 entrants to work alongside the Bush Theatre , Salisbury Playhouse, Second Stride and Spitalfields Market Opera on designs for forthcoming productions.
