An early comedy from J.B. Priestley exploring greed and dishonesty in suburban England, Laburnum Grove runs at the Finborough Theatre until 19 March.

The Audience
5 March 2013
(Previews from 15 February)

Helen Mirren stars as Queen Elizabeth II in this play imagining a series of pivotal meetings between a succession of Prime Ministers and their Queen. Also starring Haydyn Gwynne, Edward Fox and Nathaniel Parker, it runs until 15 June.


Purple Heart
5 March 2013
(Previews from 28 February)

The UK premiere of this major early work from Bruce Norris which centres on a woman trying to rebuild her life after her husband is killed in Vietnam. It runs at the Gate Theatre until 6 April.


The Boy Who Kicked Pigs
5 March 2013

The stage adaptation of Tom Baker's children's novel about an evil 13 year-old who wants to take over the world comes to London following a run at the Lowry Theatre. It runs at Jackson's Lane until 16 March.

A new play telling the true story of a group of Filipino immigrants who work 6 days a week as carers for elderly Orthodox Jewish men, transforming on the seventh day into a musical drag act. It runs at the Tricycle Theatre until 13 April.

Mydidae

(Previews from 5 March)

Jack Thorne's Mydidae tranfers to the Trafalgar Studios following a run at the Soho Theatre. An intimate exploration of a relationship between two people staged in a fully plumbed bathroom, it runs until 30 March.


Longing
7 March 2013
(Previews from 28 February)

William Boyd's play based on two short stories by Anton Chekhov spins a tale of 19th century Russian life. Starring Tamsin Greig, Iain Glen and John Sessions, it runs at the Hampstead Theatre until 13 April.


Lysistrata
7 March 2013
(Previews from 6 March)

A musical adaptation of Aristophanes' comedy set against the backdrop of the European crisis, Lysistrata runs at the Riverside Studios until 23 March.

8 March 2013

Graham Greene's 1953 play, a story of sex, sin and guilt, stars Christopher Timothy and Tuppence Middleton, and runs at the Jermyn Street Theatre until 30 March.
