Youngsters invited to audition for Grease - Stage Experience

Date: 4 March 2013

Are you a budding actor, singer, dancer or musician aged 11 – 21? If so, you have the chance to experience what it is like to work on a professionally run theatre production and star in a local production of the hit musical Grease this summer at the Palace Theatre. Auditions will be held on Saturday 16 March at the Opera House, with rehearsals and performances taking place at the Palace Theatre.

As part of Stage Experience, all participants will work with a professional production team and get to perform Grease on the famous Palace Theatre stage in front of an audience.

With just two weeks to put the show together it is an exciting and exhilarating introduction for newcomers to musical theatre whilst being a challenging and rewarding project for those who may have some previous experience on stage.

Grease is the original High-School musical, featuring all the unforgettable songs from the hit movie including "You're The One That I Want", "Summer Nights", "Hopelessly Devoted To You", "Sandy", "Greased Lightnin'" and many more.  You could end up being 'bad boy' Danny or 'the girl next door' Sandy.
