Michael Grandage Company launches youth theatre

Date: 24 January 2013

The Michael Grandage Company has launched a youth theatre company to work alongside its season at the Noel Coward theatre.

The MGC Futures Company is a free scheme open to 15 to 25 year olds and will be run by MGC Futures associate Dominic Francis.

The company is looking to recruit 20 young actors, directors, technicians, stage managers and a variety of other roles from schools and colleges across London.

James Bierman and Michael Grandage said today, "We are delighted to launch the MGC Futures' Young Company as part of MGC Futures. We hope this will be a unique and rich experience, not only for the young company, but for all of us as we work together on this season of plays."

Application forms can be downloaded from www.mgcfutures.com. The closing date for applications is 1 February.
