Nominate your favourite theatres for SOBOM Customer Service award

Date: 24 January 2013

Whatsonstage.com Awards sponsor the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (STAR) is also sponsoring a special award for Outstanding Customer Service, which will be presented at the prestigious Society of Box Office Managers awards ceremony in February 2013.

This is the only SOBOM award which is open to public nominations and is intended to reward the fantastic customer service offered by entertainment venues across the UK.

Nominations are welcomed from the public for organisations or individual members of box office or ticket agency that have provided excellent service in 2012. Nominations should indicate how nominees have demonstrated a commitment to and passion for customer service and include examples of how they have gone "above and beyond" to help customers.

Joint winners of the 2012 award were the Society of London Theatres' TKTS ticket booth in Leicester Square and Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.

The 2013 award ceremony will take place on 18 February 2013 (a day after our own Whatsonstage.com Awards Concert) at Floridita in Wardour Street, London.

Nominations can be made online at www.star.org.uk or in writing to STAR, PO Box 43, London, WC2H 7LD. The closing date for nominations is 3 February 2013.
