Opening: Finborough's So Great A Crime, Fiona Shaw's Rime of the Ancient Mariner & ENB's Sleeping Beauty

So Great A Crime tells the story of Sir Hector MacDonald who rose from humble beginnings as a crofter's son through the ranks of the British Army to become a knight of the realm. It runs at the Finborough Theatre until 22 January.

A new comedy imagining The End of the World not as a disaster movie, but as experienced by two young men from the comfort of their living room sofa. It runs at the Old Vic Tunnels until 2 February.

The Rime of the Ancient Mariner

Fiona Shaw performs Coleridge's epic poem with dancer Daniel Hay-Gordon. Directed by Phyllida Lloyd, it runs at the Old Vic Tunnels until 13 January.

Opening Wednesday

Sleeping Beauty
9 January 2013

The English National Ballet bring the classic fairy tale to the Coliseum. Featuring some of Tchaikovsky's best-loved ballet music, it runs until 19 January.

Albert Camus' play featuring darkly absurd and tragic consequences comes to the King's Head Theatre. It runs until 2 February.

A darkly comic drama set in the glamorous world of a Market Harborough Genito-Urinary Medicine Department. Starring Helena Blackman, it runs at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre until 26 January.

A play which some people think was written in collaboration with Shakespeare, Fair Em runs at the Union Theatre until 9 February.
