Nick Cochrane returns to St Helens in Cinderella, 7 Dec

Date: 4 December 2012

Panto season has already begun and the St Helen's Theatre Royal have invited former Coronation Street back to star in Cinderella.  Cinderella!

Cochrane returns to the stage, having starred in Aladdin in 2011 and this year as the loveable Buttons. Also helping Cinders get to the ball is star of Channel 4’s Shameless and Theatre Royal favourite Tina Malone, who is swapping Chatsworth Estate for the land of fairytales as she becomes the carriage-crafting Fairy Godmother.

Juice FM presenter and actress Leanne Campbell will be stepping into the glass slippers of Cinderella while master of magic and illusion Richard De Vere and the fabulous Si Foster are back by popular demand and preparing to swap britches for blouses as the boo-able Ugly Stepsisters! Local lad James Waud will make a dashing Prince Charming and St Helens stalwart Marc Lawlor will play the Prince’s BFF Dandini, while another Theatre Royal favourite Charlie Griffiths returns to play Baroness Hardup.

The show is produced by Regal Entertainments and features real life Shetland ponies, an abundance of comedy, stunning sets, fabulous costumes and bucket loads of that fabled pantomime magic, this is the perfect festive treat!

Cinderella is at the St Helens Theatre Royal from 7 December - 13 January.
