Opening: Young Vic's Changeling, Ford Davies as Mister Tom & Chichester's Kiss Me, Kate

Among this week's major London theatre openings, in the West End and further afield, are The Changeling at the Young Vic, childrens classic Goodnight Mister Tom starring Oliver Ford Davies, Kiss Me Kate with Hannah Waddingham & Alex Bourne, and more:

Thomas Middleton's gripping and darkly comic tale of how love and sex drive us mad returns to the Young Vic, this time in the main house, for a limited run. It runs at the Young Vic until 22 December.

Oliver Ford Davies stars in the children's classic, brought to life onstage, which comes to the Phoenix Theatre following a UK tour. It runs until 26 January 2013. And why not come on our Outing?

Cole Porter's classic musical comes to London following a run at the Chichester Festival Theatre. Starring Alex Bourne, Hannah Waddingham, David Burt, Clive Rowe, and Adam Garcia, it runs at the Old Vic until 2 March 2013.

Sondheim's musical about the turbulent relationship between three friends over a period of three decades stars Damian Humbley, Jenna Russell and Mark Umbers, among others. It runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory until 23 February 2013. Read our interview with Umbers here.

The Prince and the Pauper

Mark Twain’s classic tale of confused identities tells the story of what happens when a prince is mistaken for a pauper. It runs at the Unicorn Theatre until 13 January 2013.
