The Whatsonstage.com Awards Concert has become one of the highlights of the theatregoing calendar. An unmissable night with lots of glitz, glamour and fun and a chance for you, the theatregoer voter, to take part in the culmination of the only major theatre accolades decided by the public.

For the 13th annual Awards Concert in 2013, we’re heading somewhere new, to the beautiful Palace Theatre, currently home of Singin' in the Rain, and will be donning our party-wear for an evening of fun and frivolity on Sunday 17 February 2013.

The evening includes a two-and-a-half hour Concert performed by numerous nominees and other top West End stars as well as numbers from some of the year's biggest musicals - and of course, your big-name winners collecting their trophies to your cheers.

Proceedings are overseen by a team of celebrity hosts, who have included Alan Davies, Sheridan Smith, Christopher Biggins, Miranda Hart, Jenny Eclair and James Corden in recent years.

The Awards Concert is held in aid of this year’s adopted charity, Interact (part of  Stagecoach Charitable Trust), an inclusive performance centre where anyone aged between 10 and 18 is welcome to explore acting, singing and dancing.

Nomations for the 2013 Whatsonstage.com Awards open on Thursday (1 November), ahead of the announcement of shortlists at the industry-only Launch Party - which will feature, as previously announced, the cast of Green Day musical American Idiot as well as a host of celebrity presenters.

Theatregoer sponsors not only get tickets to the Awards Concert as part of their sponsorship package but can also attend the Launch Party on 7 December 2012. For full details on being a theatregoer sponsor, click here.
