David Gest is Frankenstein in Royal Court's Nightmare, 23 Nov

Date: 19 October 2012

Television star and producer David Gest is set to tread the boards in the specially adapted role of Frankenstein's monster in a new comedy-horror stage production A Nightmare On Lime Street.

The production is the latest in a series of hit Christmas shows penned by critically acclaimed British writer Fred Lawless and runs for nine weeks from 23 November 2012 to 12 January 2013 at Liverpool's Royal Court Theatre.

The run includes a special star-studded Charity Gala performance of the show on Sunday 2 December 2012 with guests set to include Katherine Jackson, mother of David's close friend the late "King of Pop" Michael Jackson, as well as the superstar singer's siblings, Tito Jackson (David's best friend since childhood) and Rebbie Jackson. Also in attendance will be a host of top name US stars who are flying in especially to see David Gest perform in what will be his first-ever professional engagement on stage.

A Nightmare On Lime Street is the fourth in a series of Royal Court Christmas shows to have been written by Fred Lawless.
