Miss Polly Rae and her all-singing, all-dancing Hurly Burly girls return to the West End with a summer run at the Duchess Theatre. Until 22 September.

OPENING WEDNESDAY

The Taming of the Shrew
4 JULY 2012
(PREVIEWS FROM 23 JUNE)

Olivier Award-winner Samantha Spiro plays the title role in Toby Frow's revival of Shakespeare controversial comedy at Shakespeare's Globe, where it runs in rep to 13 October.

Propeller

Edward Hall's all-male Shakespeare company bring their productions of Henry V and The Winter's Tale to Hampstead Theatre, running in rep until 21 July.

OPENING THURSDAY

The 8th

Paul Heaton and Che Walker's new musical The 8th comes to the Barbican Centre for one night only as part of a national tour.

The Scoop Festival

The Scoop Festival of free theatre returns to City Hall with a season of Greek classics - Orestes, Agamemenon and children's show The Trojan Horse. Until 5 August.

The Tiger Who Came to Tea

Children's favourite The Tiger Who Came to Tea arrives at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue for another summer season. Until 2 September.
