Full casting announced for Stiles & Drewe's Soho Cinders

Full casting has been announced for Soho Cinders, the new musical from Olivier-award winning duo George Stiles and Anthony Drewe which receives its world premiere at Soho Theatre from 8 August to 9 September 2012 (previews from 2 August).

Directed by Jonathan Butterell, Soho Cinders promises an "edgy, fun and deliciously naughty" take on the Cinderella fairy tale, featuring lap-dancers, politicians and sex scandals.

Thomas Milner, best known for playing Paul Langley in BBC drama Waterloo Road, will star as Robbie, an impoverished student who becomes romantically involved with engaged mayoral candidate James Prince, played, as previously announced, by Michael Xavier

Also joining the cast are Raj Ghatak, who was nominated for a Whatsonstage.com Award for his role as Sweetie in Bombay Dreams, Beverley Rudd (Shameless, Into the Woods), Gerard Carey (Masterclass, Spamalot, Torchwood), Amy Lennox (Elle in Legally Blonde on tour), Suzie Chard (Oliver, Scrooge on tour) and Neil McCaul (Guys & Dolls,, Chicago).

As previously announced, Olivier-award winning actress Jenna Russell will also star in Soho Cinders, which also features the voice of actor, writer and comedian Stephen Fry.
