Drag news: Divas storm into Arts, Snow White to Green Carnation

Date: 2 May 2012

Whitney Houston, Cher, Beyonce, Shirley Bassey, Diana Ross, Liza Minnelli and Amy Winehouse are among the stars not appearing at the Arts Theatre this summer when Drag Divas hits town for two weeks in August.

The show, hosted by drag stars Titti La Camp and Mrs Moore, promises "the world’s greatest divas as you’ve never seen them before played by the hottest up and coming drag talent London has to offer" She show is directed by Simon Gross whose adults-only drag panto Snow White and her Seven Poofs returns to London later this year for a third airing.

After two years at the Leicester Square Theatre the show moves slightly northwards to the Green Carnation Cabaret Venue in Greek Street and again stars Drag Idol 2009 winner Tanya Hyde

Gross says this will be the final outing for the production.

Drag Divas runs at the Arts Theatre from 9 August to 25 August 2012.

Snow White and her Seven Poofs runs at the Green Carnation Cabaret Venue from 3 December 2012 to 6 January 2013.
