Full List & Photos: 2012 Olivier Award winnersDate: 15 April 2012Winners of this year's 36th annual Olivier Awards, London's equivalent of the Tonys and the UK's most prestigious stage awards, were announced this evening (15 April 2012) at a star-studded ceremony held at the Royal Opera House. This year's ceremony was hosted for the second time by Sweeney Todd co-stars Michael Ball and Imelda Staunton. In addition to the 25 shortlisted Awards this year's ceremony, which was broadcast live on the BBC's Red Button and Radio 2, included Special Award presentations to British lyricist Tim Rice and outgoing Royal Ballet director Monica Mason.
