Wyatt & Garcia front dance Revolution, Sundays at HaymarketDate: 2 April 2012Kimberly Wyatt and Adam Garcia will appear alongside a 20-strong cast of dancers in new show Revolution which will play Sunday performances at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket from 13 May (previews from 6 May) to 10 June 2012. Fronted by Wyatt and Garcia, who are both judges on Sky 1's Got to Dance, Revolution will showcase dance acts from television shows such as Britain’s Got Talent, Got to Dance and So You Think You Can Dance. Amongst other commercial dance and choreographic talents, the show also promises dancers who have toured with the likes of Take That, Cheryl Cole and The X Factor. The show's line up includes dancers Aaron Renfree (former S Club Junior, We Will Rock You, Flashdance) Tobias Mead (Britain’s Got Talent finalist), Charlie Bruce (So You Think You Can Dance) and Lizzie Gough (So You Think You Can Dance, Alesha’s Dance Stars panelist). Garcia will take part in Revolution prior to starring as Bill Calhoun in Trevor Nunn's upcoming Chichester revival of Kiss Me Kate which runs from 27 June (previews from 18 June) to 1 September 2012. Australian Garcia made his London debut in 1993 with Hot Shoe Shuffle, a tap dance show, and went on to star in Grease and Saturday Night Fever. He earned a 1999 Olivier Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance in Saturday Night Fever, returning to musicals in 2006 to join the cast of Wicked as Fiyero alongside Idina Menzel. Away from the stage, Garcia has starred Hollywood films such as Coyote Ugly and Riding in Cars with Boys and appeared on television in Doctor Who.
 Kimberly Wyatt in a publicity image for Revolution Wyatt has collaborated with former Jupiter Rising member Spencer Nezey to form a group called Her Majesty & The Wolves. Her debut solo record "Candy" was the lead track on dance feature film StreetDance 3D and reached number five in the UK singles charts. Wyatt also joined the judging panel for the US version of Got to Dance, Live to Dance. Billed as a "fast-paced, futuristic and inspiring performance", Revolution is produced and directed by Chris Manoe. The show will play a matinee and an evening performance each Sunday of its limited West End run. Also currently playing at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket, Richard Bean's Whatsonstage.com Award-winning comedy, One Man, Two Guvnors transferred to the theatre following an acclaimed run at the National Theatre, a national tour and a West End berth at the Adelphi. The production picked up a total of three prizes at the 2012 Whatsonstage.com Awards, in addition to Bean's Best New Comedy prize, James Corden picking up the gong for Best Actor in a Play while Oliver Chris took home Best Supporting Actor. - by Andrew Girvan & Hayley Thorpe Related Content
