The Experian Hitwise UK Top 10 Awards celebrate the most successful UK websites based on market share of UK visits a website has received throughout the year. Whatsonstage.com has consistently charted at No. 3 or No. 4 for many years. During 2011, we ranked No. 2 based on visits between January and December 2011 among all UK sites in the Hitwise Entertainment - Performing Arts industry. Whatsonstage.com is the only media website included in the top three. The venue and ticketing site for the Ambassador Theatre Group, the UK’s largest theatre owner and producer, comes in at No. 1 followed by the National Theatre’s flagship website at No. 3.
