Jonathan Kent’s Chichester revival of Sondheim’s popular 1979 musical comes to the Adelphi Theatre replete with Michael Ball in the title role and Imelda Staunton as the pie-making Mrs Lovett.

South Pacific

The New York Lincoln Centre revival of South Pacific, starring Samantha Womack and Paulo Szot, comes to the New Wimbledon Theatre until 31 March as part of its national tour.

Patrick Marber’s retelling of Strindberg’s classic tragedy is revived at the Young Vic by director Natalie Abrahami, running until 14 April.

A Walk On Part
(PREVIEWS FROM 15 MARCH)

The Live Theatre production based on the political diaries of former MP Chris Mullin returns to Soho Theatre, moving into the Main House where it continues until 14 April.

Michael Attenborough directs a new version of Eduardo De Filippo’s Filumena at the Almeida Theatre, starring Olivier Award-winner Samantha Spiro in the title role. Until 12 May.
