Mamet's Life in the Theatre at Liverpool Actor's Studio, 13 MarchDate: 21 February 2012 David Mamet's play A Life in The Theatre is at The Liverpool Actor's Studio next month and stars well known local actors Andrew Schofield and Stephen Fletcher.
The piece is described as a rare glimpse of the funny, moving, and unglamouress world of a life in the theatre. A Life in The Theatre focuses on the relationship between two actors, the play’s only characters. One, Robert, is a stage veteran (Schofield) while John (Fletcher) is a young, promising actor. As the play goes on they are involved in a variety of productions, and gradually their relationship begins to change in a series of short, spare and increasingly raw exchanges.
The play runs from 13th - 18 March 2012.
