David Haig plays the title role in Christopher Luscombe's Theatre Royal Bath revival of Alan Bennett’s historical drama, which transfers to the Apollo Theatre following a national tour.

The Trial of Ubu
24 JANUARY 2012

Katie Mitchell directs Simon Stephens’ new play, satirising the trial of a dictator at the Hague, at Hampstead Theatre, where it continues until 18 February.

The House of Bernarda Alba
26 JANUARY 2012
(PREVIEWS FROM 19 JANUARY)

Bijan Sheibani revives Federico Garcia Lorca's classic matriarchal drama at the Almeida Theatre with a cast led by Iranian stage and screen star Shohreh Aghdashloo.

Shallow Slumber
(PREVIEWS FROM 24 JANUARY)

Chris Lee’s new play premieres at Soho Theatre, starring Alexandra Gilbreath and Amy Cudden. Until 18 February.
