OPENING TUESDAY Collaborators 1 NOVEMBER 2011  (PREVIEWS FROM 25 OCTOBER) John Hodge's new play, inspired by the true story of an artistic collaboration between Mikhail Bulgakov and Stalin, stars Alex Jennings and Simon Russell Beale at the NT Cottesloe, where it continues in rep until 21 January 2012. OPENING WEDNESDAY Three Days in May 2 NOVEMBER 2011 (PREVIEWS FROM 1 NOVEMBER) Warren Clarke returns to the stage to play Winston Churchill in Ben Brown's Three Days in May, which arrives at Trafalgar Studios following a national tour. The Swallowing Dark (PREVIEWS FROM 1 NOVEMBER) Lizzie Nunnery’s thriller The Swallowing Dark, set in Mugabe-run Zimbabwe, is revived at Theatre503, running until 26 November. OPENING THURSDAY A British Subject 3 NOVEMBER 2011 (PREVIEWS FROM 2 NOVEMBER) Following runs in New York and Edinburgh, A British Subject, the true account of how Daily Mirror journalist Don Mackay became the first journalist to interview Mirza Tahir Hussain during his time on death row, comes to the Arts Theatre, starring Nichola McAuliffe. Until 26 November. Fanta Orange (PREVIEWS FROM 1 NOVEMBER) Sally Woodcock's new play Fanta Orange takes a fresh look at modern-day Kenya at the Finborough Theatre, running until 26 November. My Big Gay Italian Wedding (PREVIEWS FROM 1 NOVEMBER) Paul Taylor-Mills' Off Broadway comedy - a "music and dance-filled extravaganza" - receives its London premiere at Above the Stag with a run to 19 November.
