1st Night Photos: Jacobi’s Lear Bows at Donmar

The long-awaited Donmar Warehouse production of King Lear, starring Olivier Award-winner Derek Jacobi in the title role, opened last night at the Donmar’s Covent Garden base.

Michael Grandage’s production, which also stars Gina McKee, Justine Mitchell and Pippa Bennett-Warner as Goneril, Regan and Cordelia, and Ron Cook as the Fool, continues until 5 February 2011 prior to a national tour.
