Arlene didn't choreograph. He name is on it but I'm pretty 100% positive her assistants choreographed the whole show. - Daniel Upple

Flashdance-what a feeling? what a flop! It really didn't help that Victoria (leading lady) dropped her chair in one of the sequences and walked into a wall. However, her voice was very good although didn't dance much considering it is supposed to be a dance show! Backing singer was singing in darkness (2nd act) as spotlight wasn't positioned correctly. Lacklustre dancing, Matt Willis cannot act and weak singing voice. Jewish mother was brilliant. Lighting in the club scene was really bright so not authentic. Wasted opportunity to bring back a great show. Even the top notch music wasn't enough to drag the laboured show through. I give it till Christmas as I feel it already has the "short lived Shaftsbury-curse" upon it. - S Burman

Went to see Flashdance on 7th October, great evening out, although felt the dialogue was a little rushed, maybe just nerves but it was sometimes quite hard to keep up...awesome choreography...Arlene's still got it... - Stuart
